Partisan Office Candidates:
Appear on the Primary Election ballot no matter how many candidates file for the same office. The top-2 candidates will be on the General Election ballot.
Non-Partisan Office Candidates (PUD & Judicial):
Appear on the Primary Election ballot only if 3 or more candidates file for the same office. Only voters in District 3 may vote at the Primary Election. The top-2 candidates will be on the General Election ballot. Voters in the entire district vote at the General Election to elect the commissioner.
Precinct Committee Offices (PCO) are not listed under "Offices Open for Filing". They are listed separately on the "For Candidates" page. Positions for ALL precincts for both parties (Rep. & Dem.) are open for filing. There is NO filing fee. Dates, times and how to file listed above apply to filing for PCO. PCO's are elected in the Primary election. Only contested PCO races will appear on the Primary ballot and the candidate with the most votes is elected. Contested PCO candidates will appear in the on-line voters' guide.
